Golden Rose ~ Holographic Nail Colour #06

Golden Rose ~ Holographic Nail Colour #06
Pale baby blue linear holo

Golden Rose has made a collection of holographic nail polishes and I bought four of them. I have already showed you #03 (click this link to see it) and today it’s time for another pale sister, namely number 06.

Like I said – I’m usually not wearing pale colours on their own, so this is how I ended up wearing it. The picture is taken in the sun.

I used two coats of the #06. The formula was great and the drying time was good too.

The darker blue sides are made with tape and China Glaze’s “I Truly Azure You” (Click this link to see it on its own) LINK
This picture also shows how pale the polish is on its own. There’s no way I would wear this alone!

Here’s the holographic on its own; two coats and a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken with flash.

Here is the stuff I used for my manicure. The little studs are from Aliexpress. They’ll probably last me more than a lifetime, haha! :D

Tomorrow I’ll show you my third Golden Rose Holographic, so stay tuned.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Strong linear holo
Overall impression: Great rainbows! The colour is very pale so the blue almost looks grey
Buy again: Not quite sure about that

Golden Rose ~ Holographic Nail Colour #03

Golden Rose ~ Holographic Nail Colour #03
Pale lavender linear holo

More and more nail polish brands jump the holographic wagon and that’s just great for a holo lover like myself! I bought four of Golden Rose’s holographic polishes and this is the first one I try on.

It’s pale lavender, not a colour I wear alone, so let me start off by showing you how I actually wore it:

I used two coats of the #03. The formula was fine, no worries at all – and the drying time was good too.

The stamping is from stamping plate BP-L061 and I made the stamping gradient with Colour Alike’s “B. a Rainy Mood” and El Corazón’s “Raspberry Mood”.

Here’s the holographic on its own; two coats. I had no sunshine so the picture is taken with flash.

See how pale it is in daylight. There are still rainbows and it’s still pretty but I would never wear it alone :D

Here’s the stuff I used for my nails today.

I love stamping gradients!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Strong linear holo
Overall impression: Great rainbows! The colour is good as a base colour for nail art
Buy again: Yes

Eveline ~ Trend Collection #277

Eveline ~ Trend Collection #277
Orange shimmer

I thought I had already showed you all my Eveline polishes but it turns out that there were a pretty orange shimmer hiding! I decided to wear it right away.

I used two coats for my mani and the drying time was good. I haven’t experienced one Eveline polish I was disappointed in and this orange beauty is no exception.

I decided to keep it simple and just make an accent nail with a water decal on. It’s from Born Pretty Store. I used the one that is meant for the ring finger but it was too narrow for me! That’s unusual for me because me nails aren’t particularly big. I fixed it by making a row of dots down the side where the white that I used as a base colour showed.

Take a look at my final mani including topcoat. The picture is taken in daylight, no sun.

Here’s a picture taken in my lightbox.

This is the stuff I used.

The vinyls are of a very good quality so it’s a shame that they are so relatively small. I can still use them because they are so thick that the colour underneath isn’t showing through. So I can just use a corresponding colour underneath so it’s a nice colour that shows where the decals don’t cover. Problem solved.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: I love this shade of orange and the shimmer is gorgeous!
